A secret place right before you enter the boss fight. Cut.
You have to wait seconds for Eggman to get out of his machine. In the final, he gets out instantly. Also, he doesn't shoot out balls on you here.


Every zone in 510 features a different enemy flower. In the final, every zone had the same flower.
